Municipal Railway (Muni) The MUNI system consists of all cable cars, streetcars, trains (Muni Metro), conventional buses, and electric buses that run within the city limits; all operate daily until 1AM. The nicest drivers are often on the cable-car lines, where many delight in entertaining the tourists.
